Death is always a difficult time for the family and those who are left behind. It is therefore important that the Estate is administered with a degree of sympathy and the utmost efficiency. - Complile the Inventory of assets and liabilities
- Make application to the Court for Confirmation (Probate)
- Ingather the estate
- Settle debts and taxes
- Distribute in accordance with the deceased’s wishes as per their Will or according to the law of Intestate Succession, if no Will.
We also offer a Will drafting service taking into account the individual’s wishes and financial circumstances. Inheritance tax is becoming a big issue and affecting more families as time goes on. 4 in every 10 estates now pay inheritance tax and it is important that this issue is addressed if appropriate.
