In September 2011, Grieve & Co. Ltd were selected as one of a group of law accountancy firms to assist the Scottish Legal Aid Board with the pilot scheme for a secure 3rd party access system which will enable Solicitors to instruct their preferred Law Accountancy firm to produce Legal Aid accounts using the Legal Aid online system securely. Our vast knowledge and
experience of over 20 years in producing legal aid accounts and working with SLAB will be essential to the success of the eventual system in place. The estimated date for the pilot system to be operational will be July 2012. Solicitor input to this system is vital and if you are interested in becoming involved then please contact us to discuss.
Currently, Law Accountants are unable to access Legal Aid online to produce online accounts unless a Solicitor consents to them using their Firm’s login details. If you would like to explore this option then contact us however it should be noted this is insecure access.
